I have used this product for over 40 years, there is nothing better for ,nor easier to apply to footwear than Neatsfoot Oil,it also moisturises and lubricates your feet whilst walking.Just apply it to the footwear with a small paint brush,its as easy as that! You must buy the pure unadulterated product though as some versions contain paraffin,which is not good for leather or skin.Neatsfoot Oil makes the leather soft and supple and the waterproofing qualities last for quite a long time.Be wary of using it near Dogs though as they like the taste! Another good reason to buy only the pure product.

A Miracle for Leather
Neatsfoot oil mixed with lanolin is a centuries old treatment for dry or just old leather. Mostly used for saddlery, it's also useful to restore belts, shoes or even leather furniture. Everyone should have some in the cupboard.
