Perfect!
This carrier is extremely well made - I feel that I can trust the product to carry my 7.4kg dog, without worrying whether the carrier will collapse while I am cycling with my dog.

It was very easy to fit . Having tried a rucksack type of dog-carrier, into which my dog would not go in at all, this produced a completely different results. My dog did not mind being put into DogsLife Carrier and he seems quite happy and comfortable.

I worried that the carrier would dig into my dog's neck, but it does not happen at all. The design is really quite clever - in a way that the tension of the straps doesn't pull on his neck.

It is just perfect!

Unfortunately, because it took so long to be delivered, I have only used it twice and will not be using it again, as my puppy is now able to walk out with me and my older dog.

Ordered sunday evening, received 9am tuesday morning. Fantastic quality and considerably cheaper than local pet stores. So impressed, I have ordered a second one as my bunnies do not get on! For this price they can have one each! Cannot believe that major high street pet shops continue to charge so much more for a considerably inferior alternative product. This one has fox proof wire and good quality wood. The enclosed hideout section is great. Only critisism would be that the door catch is not very reliable, easily rectified by a small bolt from Wilkinsons for under a pound!

I have been using the Groom Dog deShedding tool for two weeks now and what a difference it has made! My chocolate Cocker Spaniel now has a very soft shiny, healthy coat. He loves to be groomed with it after his walks to detangle his fur, and remove all of the sticky green balls & leaves that he has inherited whilst running through the woods!
I have noticed his shedding has decreased rapidly after regularly using the tool which means my furniture, carpets (and me) don't get covered in dog hair as much. I was also impressed with the quick delivery, great product!

Disappointed
Unfortunately this de-shedding tool has teeth that catch and drag in the fur pulling it out from the roots. I don't know what the problem is exactly, but my dog cringes away each time I approach him with it, and is obviously in discomfort when it is being used on him. He's a GSD, not a wimp! I had a furmigator before and thought this looked similar at a fraction of the cost, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, a complete waste of money.

Lovely bed shame about the sizing
My Rough Collie has Arthritis and the dog bed looked very comfortable. I chose a large size thinking it would be big enough. Unfortunately when it arrived today I found that it would have been better for a small terrier. It would have been a help if the manufacturers had given an overall guide as to what size dog it was for. It was a shame I had to send it back because it looked very well made and comfortable.

I bought two of these beds for our cocker spaniels and english pointer - they love them, they are very smart and look good in the room, and the dogs love them - X large is good for largish spaniel and labrador or large dog. Sizes are bit deceptive as the beds are so thick on the sides the inside dimension is smaller. Beautiful product at a great price.

Very well made collar but can't give it 5 stars as the sizing info is very misleading. The length given is from tip to buckle, not first hole to buckle. I had initially ordered the 40cm size which was too small. Add at least 5cm to your dogs neck size when ordering.

Warm, rip proof (so far!) and good price
For the price this is a great rug.
My new forest has it on as he is clipped this year and it has kept him warm down to -7, through snow and rain it has kept him dry.
One downside is that he has his chest clipped, and the front is rubbing him, not enough to cause soreness but he does have a very large bald patch- so would advise buying with something to put underneath, e.g. a lycra vest to cover the chest/base of neck, other than that, brill rug

It's big enough for them to get inside,they have been known to sleep in it but mostly they just climb on it and chew it. I have a Russian Dwarf Hamster and it took her nearly 2 weeks to figure out she could get up the ladder and she slides down it. After 3 weeks she has figured out that she can burrow in it and it gave me a shock to find her not in her house but actually sleeping in the tower! The tower was easy to build and seems like it will last a long time. I would definitely recommend it!

This is a lovely idea, but I have a large dog with a long tongue which enables her to cheat the system and lick up the treats with her tongue without chasing them around the maze !It does take her longer, though,to eat them so IS of some use. I am going to pass it on to my daughter who owns a much smaller dog I am sure this will keep her Patterdale terrier happy for hours!

An activity feeder for dry dog food. Not suitable for wet food in my opinion.

We have 2 rescue dogs - "Amber" a Greyhound x Alsatian x Staffie who is 8 years old amd "Maisy" who is a very petite Border Collie, of approximately 3 years old.

"Amber" is greedy and wolfs down her food far to fast. "Maisy" is much slower and more ladylike and has tremendous patience.

On first use, it took ages for greedy "Amber" to eat the dry kibble that I distributed within the Buster Maze. Brilliant! Success! (The anti-gobble bowl that I had previously bought, did nothing to slow her down.) The Maze is a much bigger 'bowl' than I thought it would be, but that is fine. It is easy to wash and dry and not heavy to lift up. We have lots of different activity toy feeders for the girls and "Amber" has no problem in picking them up and throwing them around, BUT, she has not managed to do this with the Buster Dog Maze. I had a beige carpet, covered in the fur of three dark cats that the hoover wouldn't touch no matter how long I spent trying. It took me two hours and a LOT of elbow grease with this gadget (good workout, on the plus side!), but the end result was a carpet that looks like new. If you're willing to put in the time and effort, I think this is the best thing out there for doing the job.

I found this product to be excellent on my wool rugs and carpets but less so on nylon loop pile cheaper carpets. We have two labradors and a cat who produce a super market sized bag of hair everytime I use the pet hair magnet ( 2-3 times a week) from my carpets rugs and upholstry.
I've not used it on my car seats as my commercial vacum cleaner works well again on good quality carpets, it may not work as well on the cheaper felt like carpets in some cars. I'm so concerned of not being able to replace it I've brought a spare!

I bought this bone around a month a go and I have to say that it is great. I paid the full price and still believe that it was worth it. My dog loves to chew this bone and it seems almost impossible to break. I have an 8 months-old labrador retriever who loves chewing and most toys are not up to the challenge. These lifejackets are very well made indeed, do the job well, yet also look stylish. I particularly like the extra width belly-straps to support the dog if you have to lift it by the handle on the jacket.

One comment I would say is that we bought the small size for our Manchester Terrier having measured him, and it was way too big. The small size states it will fit a dog from 330 to 406mm, but the actual back length measurement of the small jacket is 330mm, so a dog of the same length or a little bigger will be swamped by it. We had to return and go for an XS. It's worth taking the time to check the actual measurement of the jacket before you order.

BTW we didn't buy from Amazon.

Useful protection against Flystrike and other crawlies. Flystrike can kill a bunny in a few hours when blowflies lay their eggs in the Rabbit's skin. This us usually in the area just above Bunny's tail which Rabbits can't reach to groom very effectively. Give your bun a good brushing out in order to remove loose fur before applying and make sure some gets on the skin. This is not as powerful as the "Rear Guard" spray available from Vets but it is a lot cheaper. Check your Bun's back and botty daily during the summer because that is the best prevention. Do the bunnies like it? Of course not!

Zoo Med TD-30 Turtle Dock, Small

Nice but...
Nice basking area but it has two serious problems: first of all if your turtle is a bit heavier (mine is 2+ years male) the platform will go under the water level a bit and their underside (plastron?) will not dry up properly. Second your turtle might try to nip at it like mine did. There is also a chance they may eat some of it but in most turtle forums i looked in, i found out that there is no danger (or lets hope there is not).

All and all it is a convienient solution BUT it could be alot better. If you have hatchlings or male yearlings i think it would do its job just fine for a year at least, so it is not a bad investment.

Btw the color is not like picture in any way. What i got is mostly blackish dark green with some brown and some brighter green (it looks more like a mossy rock).

A little warning...
I bought the small and large Zoo Med Floating Turtle platforms, I thought they were novel, useful etc.

After the first few days, noticed one of the turtles started biting chunks out of it, easily ripping small particles off and spitting them back out, on the 4th day the other had joined in.
Whilst they were using the platforms for sunbathing and chewing apart, the particles they were ripping off quickly clogged the external filters and caused a lot of unsightly floating mess in the aquarium, not to mention the large female was trying to consume them (keeping a keen eye on her at the moment to ensure they haven't made her ill).

We have since replaced both of these with some good ol' solid slate blocks from our local garden centre.

Easy to put on and take off, could easily use as a collar if your dog is not a puller and you don't need a really strong collar. I just bought it for decoration really! My dogs first bandana, she is quite happy to wear it and it doesn't bother her at all. My dog is a border collie, fairly petite and it fits her with a lot of room left to spare.

Bought two, very reflective, red and blue lovely bright colours, material a little stiff at first, but on the one cat the collar has softened and looks great, on the other, the collar lasted a day before he lost it, then two days before he lost it again; however his record is three collars in one week, so probably not a fault of the collar - the same type has stayed on the other cat fine. Had hoped that the bright colours would mean they would be easily found, and did find it easily the first time cos it was in the garden. Obviously the quick snap is a must to prevent chocking of getting trapped, but for cats that seem to be bothered enough by their collars to scratch (and I assume the collars fall off when he gets a claw in) a softer material might be best. One such collar lasted several months, now lost: )

This jacket is a great buy for all dog owners. The quality is excellent and is well made. It is washable -- very important quality
as my little pal loves to be out in all weathers and loves getting splashed. It is easy to put on and take off.
I dropped a star for the following reason only--- the velcro fastening on the coat is sewn from the very edge ot the neck down to the end and is very rough and sharp and was sticking into my dogs neck and tummy. I just removed about one inch of the velcro
from both ends and its much better and softer for my dog.
If your dog wears coats this item is well worth a try.

This is the second the same type coat I bought for my Yorkie! He looks absolutely lovely in it and gets lots of compliments on our walks! It is very good quality, very warm and looks cute and expensive. You can take a hood off if you like. The first one (in brown colour) was used a lot and washed a lot, but it still can go for one season at least. I bought second in black to change colours and to have a change coat while other is in washing. I would definitely recommend this coat! I have yet not seen a better winter coat than this!:)))

You get what you pay for
After purchasing some of these to replace a worn out (chewed) Aerobie (similar to Aerobie 10'' Sprint Ring - Assorted Colours), this product appears to be sturdier and more durable, and are thrown in a similar fashion to a Aerobie/Frisbee, but to call this product a 'Flyer' would be as accurate as calling a tennis ball a 'Flyer', as they do not fly much further than you could throw anything of a similar weight.

As I have a 1 yr old Border Collie who is very hard to wear out, I was hoping for a product that could be thrown much further. However, considering the price and sturdiness of these compared to other 'Flyer' products, these were clearly not going to be made to the flying/gliding standards of more recreational Aerobie/Frisbee products.

Overall:
These are good for the price (so cheap to replace), and arrived promptly, but if you're looking for a Aerobie/Frisbee type product that...

Magic Pet Hair Remover

Not quite right
To be fair, I was hoping for miracles and maybe calling something `magic' might have upped my expectations. But I was rather disappointed as I had to work quite hard to remove the cat hairs that did eventually pry themselves away from my clothes and furniture and I didn't find it very effective. Absolutely fantastic product, has totally transformed our dog walking experience. Our 12 month old Rottweiler is very boisterous and wants to jump and play and say hello to every dog we meet, but does not get the concept of roads! Fantastic Training Tool
I have a dog who is a really good dog; until he sees other dogs or something that will distract him in his walk. The result of his pulling was jarring my shoulder, spine and elbow. Since buying the dogmatic he still pulls occasionally but the pulling is easily manageable. No more jarring jolts but a gentle correction and he is back on the straight and narrow. I should also add that he use to walk from side to side every ten to fifteen seconds and since using the dogmatic this has now been eliminated. I can not rate this product high enough. If you have a dog that pulls you must buy this - great!

Soooooo Useful and Practical too!
I was lucky enough to win one of these House of Paws Waterproof Dog Mattress last summer via a competition in Dogs Today magazine.

We have a rescue dog that is Greyhound x Alsatian X Staffie (weight approx 20kilos) who is unfortunate enough to have Spondylosis and Bilateral Elbow Arthritis.

This mat is an absolute godsend for her. Rather than let her stretch out on the grass or patio, which is not good for her condition, this mattress fits the bill. Being waterproof (filled with recycled hot water bottles) there is no problem if the grass is damp. It is a good size for her to stretch out on (she is approx 24" from base of neck to base of tail) and there is plenty of room. It is quite springy and gives good support.

It really is waterproof - I forgot to bring it in one time and as you know, we had a wet summer!

It's got a ripstop cover, so mud, hair and grass can be brushed off easily. It's not been put to the test with a very wet muddy outing to the park yet as we have been having lovely dry weather, so I cannot comment on how quickly it would stay dry after a muddy walk with our beagle.

Zip works, keeping any residual hair, shavings, hay in the bag so they cannot get into the washing machine and tumble dryer causing blockages etc. I have fleece accessories in my guinea pig's cage. Found product came quickly, easy enough to install but wire easily broken as very thin, so had to be put though pipe to protect it. But good value for money and a good distance of wire prob just short of an acre, would recommend but do be mindful that wire is thin so pipe might be needed.

We bought this product hoping that will stop our dalmatian from running away. It really works, set up was easy but it take some time as you need to bury the wire and protect it on the driveway. Only one issue - the wire is extremely thin and very easy to break or knot - so be careful. Quality of the sender and reciver is not bad especially when you compare it with the products few times more expensive. Manual is easy to understand and covers all aspects of fitting and methods of use. Make sure that both contacts on the colar touches the skin otherwise system won't work properly, collar has to be tight. It stretches over time so you must adjust it regularly. Electric shock is not painfull for the dog but very distressing, we check it on ourselves it doesn't hurt, just highly unplesant. Very good value for money.

My two cats love this stuff!

Like most cats, often they will decided (usually half way through a box of food), that they no longer like what you are feeding them. No matter how long they have been eating it, regardless of the fact that a couple of hours later they wolfed it down - they just turn up their noses and walk away.

This yoghurt-based treat, poured over the food is fabulous - the bowl is always clean!

Hagen manufacturer problems
I bought 2 of these and one of them came with a part missing (the back grey hinge clip).

As I live in Spain it is too difficult and expensive to return the whole item, I decided to keep it and I tried to contact the manufacturer (hagen.com) to get the missing part.

They do not give an email address on the website and the contact form does not work. There are minimal spare parts listed and mine is not there. :(

Great at first... but then let's you down!
Bought this as thought 'brilliant, a tag with the breed of my dog on the front! FAB!'. Received it quickly and with all the details needed and it was perfect... for a while!

After only having the product 2 months/ 60 days which ever way you want to look at it, the tag had become servely tarnished, turned green, and you couldn't even read the writing so no use! It was disgusting.

Oh, and to add, the 'lovely' company decided to blame me for THEIR product quality. Would not recommend ever! And not the company either! I'd suggest a different tag as this are big as well.

Metal tarnishes very quickly
I ordered 2 of these tags. After about 6 weeks of wear, the metal is alreaady starting to tarnish - either that or the plating is wearing off showing the copper underneath. The text is still visible, but I can't see it lasting for much longer

We live in a village but our house fronts the main through road and it can be fairly busy, particularly during the school run. When we took in three rescue kittens, we therefore wanted to try to make them aware of the dangers of the road before we allowed them to go outside on their own. The kitten harnesses allowed us to take them towards the end of our drive so they could see the cars going by whilst safely restrained.

The harnesses were easy to fit snugly to each kitten (we bought them in three different colours so that we always knew which fitted) and the snap fasteners made the job of attaching them to a squirming kitten much faster. None of them were able to wriggle free from the harness, although they all tried.

I don't know whether we taught any of the kittens any road sense, but we felt better having tried with the assistance of the harnesses. I am not sure that the kittens ever forgave us for the humiliation of being seen in public on a lead mind!

Safe Kitty
This lead & harness set is both pretty and sturdy. My pedigree kitten, a cream self, has teeth of steel and not even she has managed to chew through it. (unlike the WII cable, phone chager cables, various toys etc). The harness fits well and clicks into place easily. The lead is a good length so you do not need to be bent double when walking the cat. Both the lead and the Harness are light weight and so the kitten agrees to walk with it on.(unlike the first set I purchased - the only way to move the cat an inch was by dragging it along our shinny laminate - cat was unharmed!) All in all a good reliable option that grows with you cat.

We have two more adult cats in the house who are indoor and outdoor cars in the summer.
We did not want to let the new kitten go out to the gardends unsupervised, and we did not want to shut all the doors, in case she got out.
Sowe used this harness to introduce her to the wilderness. She lerned quickly,
Now she even walks like a dog. We lengthened the rope thats attached to the harness with another flexible attachment.
So she sits out in the garden with us, if she wants she can go back in the house, etc.

We brought this shedding blade for our 11 year old lab retriever who heavily moults. Our initial reaction was wow and why had it taken us so long to buy one. The first time we used it made it worth while for the money. The amount of undercoat that came off him was unreal, our garden was like a white tornado ! We use it every other day and an impressive amount still comes off him each time. His fur looks a lot neater and we would recommend this product to anyone with a dog that moults.

Everything my cat could want
This isn't the cheapest cat scratcher, but in my opinion it is well worth the money. It doesn't take up too much room in the house, but as well as a scratching post it is a look-out post for my cat who loves to sit on the top looking out at the garden. It also has cubby holes to climb in to. I have bought posts/activity centres in the past that turned out to be very wobbly. This post is extremely sturdy and very well made so I think it will last a long time, off-setting the cost.

This is the second cat barrel we have bought for our 3 kittens. They absolutely love it and now they are full grown we had to invest in a second one as all three cannot fit into one! This Cat Scratching Post Activity Centre - Hide Out is brilliant. It's a little expensive, more than I was looking to pay for a Scratching Post for my new kitten, but well worth the money. Within 5 minutes of unwrapping it, he was so interested and then going mad with it, hitting the ball, jumping into the two tiers and through the peep holes. It is really good, well made and a good weight so it is really sturdy when they climb up it. It's also a good chunky size, but saying that, sits neatly in the lounge without taking up too much space. The two tiers are great and he now sleeps in it aswell. He even jumps on the top and looks out into the garden, as if he is 'king of the castle' !! Bobbie would recommend this to all he fellow furry friends.

Super delighted with this collar. I have a black labradoodle who just loves nothing more than runs on the beach and swimming in the water. I have found that some previous collars i have used get a nasty smell to them. My dog has been wearing this for about 3 months now and its been fantastic. Very durable and its got a slightly cushioned feel to it .doesn't aggravate him at all. and the bright blue really looks lovely against his black coat. x

Nice light collar
Rated 5 because I could not fault it and my hound has no opinion on the matter. He was losing fur around his neck with his old leather collar but we use a slip-lead now anyway. This collar is really for ID tags and as a grab handle for when he's off-lead, which is frequent. It is worn really loose.

It washes reasonably well but it will never look new again but show me a used collar that will!

Be careful when sizing the collar. There is a lot of ambiguous information out there. I won't attempt to advise as I got it wrong at first even after careful research but it was changed immediately by the supplier.

Gardman Wild Bird Seed Mix 20kg

Cheap and popular
I happen to prefer Garmaqn bird food to that offered elsewhere. We have three stations in our garden with two, four port feeders using this seed. It is the most popular of our offerigs. Because we get through large amounts of bird seed buying it in 20 kg sacks is good value. We have house sparrows, green and chaffinches, blue tits, great tits, coal tits and Collared Doves feeding on it. Our local robins will eat it happily if it is put onto a bird table, This seed is ideaql for us, give it a try.

It works surprisingly well!
On reading about it, I was initially sceptical of this product. How can a few little steps get particles of cat litter off a cats paws and stop them treading it all over the house? So on receiving it, I loaded it with non-clumping, positioned it where my cats old box was and waited. There were suspicious sniffs at the contraption but very quickly my cats began using this box and amazingly it worked! It stops 80-90% of the mess associated with other boxes in my estimation. I occasionally spot the odd grain here and there but these are easily dealt with. I regularly vacuum the little steps as suggested by a reviewer in the USA and this really does the trick. Since its enclosed, odours are very well controlled and poor aiming on the cats part doesn't result in a spill on the floor. My cats tend to scratch at the wall after using an ordinary litter tray causing minor damage but now they just scratch the inside of the Booda!

A highly recommended piece of equipment.

Excellent quality for the price
Having done a lot of research into which sort of cat tree would be suitable for us, I decided on this one because it is fairly compact but still with a decent height to it (we are bringing a puppy into our cat only household soon). I was really surprised by the quality of this prodct as it was one of the cheapest I could find. Both my adult cats love it and the basket can easily withstand my 3 year old female cats constant weight as she hardly EVER leaves it now!

May not last forever but as its for the cats to play and scratch on I still think we will get 3 to 4 months out of it before it starts looking too ragged!

Definately needs to be placed against a wall though, a corner is best if possible as it can be a bit wobbly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this item, similar items from a pet store are 3 or 4 times the price. Very very easy to construct and my 3 cats love it.
The base is slightly too narrow for it to be free standing as it may topple when a cat jumps on to it but I have placed it against a wall and its fine.

Around this time of year, my Tibetan terrier starts to regrow her winter coat. Grooming can be a complete nightmare when you live in the muddy Midlands and walk daily in mushy fields, with your dog jumping into rivers and streams and picking up all kinds of debris. This stuff is beautiful for grooming! It smells delicious and rubbing just a 1p sized lob into the fur lets the comb run through really easily. If you have mats or tangles, a little rubbed directly into the knot will make it really easy to work the comb through! I am so glad an experienced TT shower shared her secret with me!

We have long haired dogs and wouldnt be without this product , makes grooming easy! use around the points where dogs matt and rub some through the coat before brushing.Appear greasy at first but soaks in quickly leaving no residue.. worth the money.

The only detangler I will ever buy.
I just love this! I use it on my horses mane and tail, and on mine. A tiny dot goes a long long way, it smells lush, really does detangle the biggest messes and lasts forever. My horse lives out 24/7 and his mane and tail get really knotted but a blob of this distributed over my hands and 'raked' through his hair does the trick in minutes. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Fab item for an accident prone dog!!
My dog received an injury and her leg was bandaged. However now and again when I wasn't looking she would chew off the bandage. This vetwrap enabled me to bandage it back up (in a fashion) so all in tact to take her back to the vets. Easy to use and good value & service.

when i opened the item i thought "well looks like this is a waste of money" how wrong was i!!!! just attach it to the collar then lead and enjoy the walk! Ive got a large german shepherd who pulls this product cut most of that out with the last few walks that weve been on now going back to enjoying walking instead of being pulled everywhere :)

We have a rescued giant breed dog, who at 18 months was not used to being on the lead, so was pulling our arms off. Attached this and it really does absorb the jolt and jarring. Brilliant, recommend it for bouncy, excitable, strong dogs. Works best on fixed length lead, not so good on an extendable one though.

Not as the picture, but does the job.
The bag of nuts arrived on time and consisted of small nuts, mainly in their husks/skins, with some broken. These are ideal for the small birds, as large nuts can apparently choke them. I've used about a third of the bag to date. All of the birds appear to eat them and come back for more. I've had to restrict the openings on the ground-feeder, to stop the larger birds from just eating them all, but the hanging feeder and caged-house on a stand, which are made for the small birds, I just fill with these nuts and the birds take from them each day. These nuts are good for the price and I will be buying them again from this supplier shortly.

Our Border Collie had a terrible habit of picking up and eating absolutely anything she found on the ground which often made her quite ill. After one particular episode which almost killed her we decided that a muzzle was necessary. We didn,t like the idea of a muzzle but her health was very important to us so a muzzle was the only option. We wanted a muzzle that was easy to get on and off, light-weight and comfortable for her to wear, and most importantly a muzzle that allowed her to breathe and pant normally whilst out walking (unlike the fabric type). We also needed a muzzle with a second shield (removable) at the tip to prevent our dog getting her tongue through the end. Many similar style muzzles do not have the double shield and thus do not make very good anti-scavenging muzzles. The ANCOL PLASTIC DOG MUZZLE fit all of our requirements. We bought size 6 for our small to medium size Border Collie and it is perfect. We can now walk our dog unleashed (most of the time)...
