Nice and sturdy, and very popular with the birds!
This bird feeder is very easy to disassemble and clean. Every component comes apart for ease of cleaning, including the baffles, and they are fairly easy to put back together again. The birds love it, and I have greenfinches, goldfinches, chaffinches, robins and sparrows use it every day.
The baffle system also works well, meaning that there is an even amount of seed distributed per port.
The feeder was much larger that I expected, so make sure you read the product dimensions first!
The only thing is that the feeder does seem to attract more birds (when filled with sunflower seeds especially), so you will need a mountain of seed to keep it supplied!! The last time I filled it, it was only three weeks until this large feeder was totally emptied, and that was two kilos of seed!!

The "AirbusA380" of feeders!
When I unwrapped this item, I was genuinely surprised at how big it actually was! If it was an aircraft, it would be an A380! It was shipped with the port perches not fitted,but they are easy to fit. The fiddly bit is detaching the top and bottom for cleaning. They are held in place by clear plastic tabs, and I was afraid I was going to break them, such is the force required to release them. The flip top makes filling a doddle.It takes a lot of seed to fill this feeder,so make sure you have a sturdy hanging point to support the extra weight. The birds were initially cautious of the new item, but after a few days, every port was full of Greenfinches,Goldfinches, Sparrows,and of course blue and Great Tits.I filled the top and bottom sections with seed mix, and the middle section with sunflower hearts. The feeder is a constant hive of activity, right outside my office window. The only time there are no birds, is when the local Sparrowhawk is on the prowl,which is thankfully rarely.

There are better feeders....
There are better feeders out there. Build quality of this one is okay, but the perching posts come out really easily and after them the baffles. I was going to glue them all in and forget being able to disassemble to clean, but when I got home there were so many parts out on the floor I did not bother! My guess is that the area's Starling flock arrived - knowing that we have such a flock, I looked for a sturdier feeder.
